Mission
The Fondation du Présent, Geneva, brings together a multisectoral community of over 10,000 members - more than half of them in developing countries - to raise and jointly address health-related issues, particularly HIV/AIDS.
Through innovative "moderated electronic discussion forums", the Fondation du Présent fosters independent, informed and constructive debate guided by principles of tolerance and respect.
The forums are open to any interested party. Any individual may subscribe.
By disseminating community-based knowledge and experiences, the Fondation du Présent helps build collective consensus on HIV/AIDS - from local to international levels, in the countries most affected. Training is provided to build the capacity of users and to establish partnerships with organizations responding to the epidemic.
The Fondation du Présent, based in Geneva, Switzerland, is a charitable State-approved non-profit organization under Swiss law.
